Women's Retreats
From all walks of life, we welcome you. Mothers & daughters,
grandmothers... anyone can do these retreats as we cater to all levels
of experience.
Paddle gentle flowing rivers, swamps, saltwater marshes and to barrier
islands. We explore it all in South Carolina and North Carolina. We
also do easy to moderate hikes, go birding, shelling, include yoga and
many other nature based activities.
Organic Gourmet Food, Guitar Music and Native American activities
included!
Some exploring on your own is also available in our week long trips.

Sunny South Carolina Women's Retreat
May 18 - 20, 2012 - Monday thru Thursday, 2 nights
$425 per person
Located in the Beautiful historic Shrimping village of
McClellanville, SC including the Francis Marion National Forest and
the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge.
Day 1
Arrive at Coastal Home around 1:00 p.m. Get settled in from 1:00 –
2:30 p.m. Village Museum Visit at 3:30 – 4:30 p.m. followed by a
Sunset Champagne Paddle in Historic Shrimping Village of Jeremy
Creek at 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Return to Coastal Home followed by Dinner at 7:00-7:15 p.m. with
libations afterwards by campfire or in screened in porch overlooking
the water.
Day 2
8:00 – 8:30 a.m. Breakfast
9:00 a.m. – Leave for Blackwater Paddle into the Wambaw Swamp
Wilderness Area in the Francis Marion National Forest. 6-9 miles of
paddling depending on group dynamics. Return to Accommodations
around 4:00 p.m. Dinner at 7:00 p.m.
Day 3
8:00 - 8:30 a.m. Breakfast
9:00 a.m. – Hike to Santee Coastal Reserve IBA Washoo Reserve Nature
Conservancy Trail. Retreat Ends at 12 -12:30 p.m.
North Carolina Land of Waterfalls Women's Retreat
October 11-14, 2012
$595 per person
Includes 3 Nights Lodging, 2 Full day and 2 ½ day Adventures, 3
Breakfasts, 3 Dinners and 2 Lunches.
Located in the beautiful Smoky & Appalachian Mountains of Lake
Glenville/Cashiers and Highlands area of North Carolina.
Day 1
Arrive at our secluded "Earth Sisters" cabin between 1 and 3 p.m.
Get settled in and enjoy a late afternoon hike creekside with our
mountain naturalist. Then enjoy social time sitting by the Medicine
Wheel creek camp getting to know each other. The Evening will be
enlightened by a campfire, guitar music, mountain wine and Dinner
with lots of great food and laughter!
Day 2
Arise by 8 a.m. with Breakfast served from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Get ready to leave by 9:45 a.m. to go Kayaking on Emerald Green Lake
Glenville to the Waterfalls. We will pack our lunches and eat on an
island or shoreline by a waterfall while kayaking. We'll wrap the
day up around 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. with the option to return to cabin
and relax or for shopping in Cashiers or Highlands nearby. Dinner
will be at 7 p.m. with Campfire "Cherokee stories".
Day 3
Arise at 8 a.m. with breakfast served from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Get ready to leave by 9:45 a.m. to go Hiking in the beautiful
Horsepasture River Gorge. Here we’ll see 3 waterfalls along the way.
We’ll pack lunches and eat riverside by “bust yo butt” falls (it’s
real name). We’ll see wildflowers and beautiful mountain vistas
along the way. The hiking should end around 2:30 – 3:00 p.m. We'll
then head back to the cabin for a "Massage in the Mountains" with
Dinner and libations following at 7 p.m.
Day 4
Arise at 8 a.m. with breakfast served from 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Pack your things and follow our guide to “Dry Falls” where you’ll
take a short hike and actually walk under a waterfall and toast with
mamosas to our retreats end! ……. (Retreat ends at 12:00 noon)
Womens Outdoor Wildlife Retreat

$225 per person
Location: Sewee Coastal RetreatCenterAwendaw, SC
Located on 70 beautiful acres surrounded by the Francis Marion National Forest and Waterfront adjacent to the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge. This is a secluded, wonderful retreat center!Included in your fee will be a bonfire and music both nights! Friday 12:00 - 12:30 p.m. check in. Sunday - 12:30 p.m. check out.
Retreat Fee: $225.00 each. Fee includes 3 days and nights of activities, 2 dinners, 2 lunches, 2 breakfasts plus live entertainment, bonfires, (Saturday night Oyster Roast & Chili supper) and more!
*Proceeds will benefit Clemsons Youth Learning Institute Camp Sewee Environmental program (non profit).
Bunk beds - $15 each per night, shared rooms, private baths or Camping for $5/ each per night with community showers included. Area cabins and homes also for rent in Awendaw and McClellanville.
Plus!... Each woman will be able to choose 2-3 activities per day of their choice plus enjoy all of those offered with "no sign up required! Activities will be offered on a first come first serve basis with class size limits.
