Join us on our weekend expeditions, for Aquarium members only. Each Expedition is $300 per person for 2 days and 1 night of fully guided tours. This price is inclusive of all meals, tents, Camping gear, kayaks, and other equipment.

Capers Island Expedition
June 18 and 19, 2016 Explore Capers Island State Heritage Preserve and the waters surrounding the Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge on a wonderful Island Expedition! We’ll have a base camp on Capers Island on the south side where it’s cool in the forested dunes. We’ll explore the creeks, estuaries and trails on Capers and the waters surrounding the refuge with Nature Adventures Outfitters and the SC Aquariums Marine Biologists. White sandy beaches with ocean breezes await your visit! Dolphin, sea turtles and over 257 species of birds frequent the area. Includes shelling, a beach campfire, fishing, crabbing, island cuisine and lots of fun! *Our boat will take your provisions out for you so you don’t have to haul anything out. Just Paddle with us in your kayak and have fun in the sun
Fall Creek Lake Keowee Waterfall Paddle
As you know, the SC Aquarium showcases a wonderful variety of animals from the “Mountains to the Sea” in South Carolina. On this trip, we’ll stay at Keowee/Toxaway State Park and enjoy an easy Paddle to Fall creek Falls. We’ll also enjoy a few waterfall hikes and a campfire social and cookout. You can sign up for a Cabin or a Tent Site with us. October 15 and 16, 2016 (From noon on Saturday until 4:00 on Sunday)
Cabin Provisions: $350 / ages 13 and up and $250/ ages 12 and under.
Tent Provisions: $300 / ages 13 and up and $200 / ages 12 and under. Includes 2 lunches, 1 breakfast and 1 dinner plus hiking and paddling trips!
